My favourite lampshade from the latest batch of commissions is this:
It is based on a lampshade design I created a few years ago (below left) that the customer spotted on my website, which I adapted to complement the carved leaves and petal-like lampholder of her fabulous wooden wall-light fitting (below right).
It was delivered safely to Scotland last Friday and I received a lovely message on my answerphone saying "I love it, it's absolutely gorgeous and when switched on it's just magic". Who can ask for more than that?
A great way to end the term!
